Indiana Jones Adventure Description

Based on the film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, this attraction is one of the favorites at Disneyland.  You will be warned upon starting your journey that you should not look into the eyes of Mara.  It quickly becomes obvious that someone on your expedition has done exactly that, and as you go through the temple ruins you encounter many dangers.  During your expedition you will see snakes, fires, poisonous darts and more as surprises are found around every corner.  At one point during the attraction you may even fear for your life as you suddenly find yourself in the path of a very large rolling boulder.  Fortunately though, you won’t get hit, and as you exit, you will see Indiana Jones himself, who will impart some important words for your next voyage.

The Queue for Indiana Jones Adventure is an attraction all by itself.  Inside the queue you will see a newsreel that tells you of Dr. Jones latest adventure.  You will see signs warning of booby traps you can enjoy setting off, and much more.  This attraction does have posted wait times so you know how long the queue is before you even enter.  On slower days, the queue is all inside, but at peak times you will see the queue also winding along outside the building.

Once you are in your jeep and begin your expedition, you can expect to be thrilled for the next 3 ½ minutes.
