Disneyland It's a Small World Review

It's a Small World, located in Fantasyland, is one of the most well known, and for some, most hated attractions at the Disneyland Resort.

Originally created for the 1964 Worlds Fair in New York, this wonderful attraction was then dismantled and brought to Disneyland where it has remained since then.

The queue for this attraction is rather quick, but even if it is a long wait, every 15 minutes the facade comes alive with movement and music for your pleasure. As you enter your attraction vehicle and begin to sail upon the water, you will enter the building to the sweet sound of children singing. It's a Small World celebrates global unity through the pageantry of children from many continents. As you enter each land, you will hear the song sung in the native language for that land. This attraction is both entertaining and one you can learn by!

Yes, the song is one that can stay with you forever. Many adults can't stand this ride, but the children love the music and the colors. And it is a great way to get off your feet and into a cool building for a while. This is one attraction everyone should do at least twice. Once during any season but the Christmas holiday.

The second time, of course, should be during the holiday season, where It's a Small World is dressed up for the holidays. It will include holiday music, and lights, and beauty. The holiday version of this attraction makes it a totally different ride. Nothing is the same, except the sound of children singing. For many adults, this version is much more tolerable. Some even say it is enjoyable and will go on this attraction multiple times.

No matter what you hear about It's A Small World, this is one attraction where you need to try it and decide for yourself whether you like it or not. It does get you off your feet for about 12 minutes, and that is always nice when you are walking through Disneyland.

As you have probably determined, I do recommend this attraction for all ages.
