Mark Twain Riverboat Description
The Mark Twain Riverboat, one of Disneyland’s original attractions is a scale model of a paddle wheeler built in the United States. As you sail the Rivers of America you will get a view of many Disneyland attractions including the River Belle Terrace, Royal Street Veranda, and TomSawyerIsland.
You can also ride in the wheelhouse, if you are the first family to contact a cast member about doing so. Check with a cast member in the loading dock or go directly to the wheelhouse upon boarding the Mark Twain. This is an experience not many people know about, but it can be thrilling for your child to pull the horn and steer the Mark Twain.
The queue for this attraction is the loading dock. When you arrive at the dock, a cast member should be able to tell you when the Mark Twain is due back in the dock. If you are in that area, you should be able to make the next turn around TomSawyerIsland.
Your ride on the Mark Twain is a very relaxing 14 minutes of peace.
