Minnie and Friends Breakfast Review  - April 2008

On our trip this year we had scheduled priority seating for 10:00 on Tuesday.  We figured since it was an Early Entry day it would not hurt to miss an hour or so of riding since the park would already be busy.

We checked in and were promptly seated outside on the verandah.  This was a great location.  After each character was done inside, they came to us before covering the rest of the outside portion of Plaza Inn.

Not only did we see great characters, but we also got an invaluable tip that would come into play right after breakfast.

During this meal we saw Ghepetto, Eeyore, Captain Hook, Alice and the Mad Hatter together, Chip and Dale together and Minnie.  Max and Fairy Godmother were also there but we saw neither.

For this meal I enjoyed the scrambled egg meal instead of my usual omelet.  Alex had cereal, fruit and a Mickey waffle.  The food, as usual was great.

We tried later in the week to get priority seating for Goofy’s Kitchen, but they were completely booked, so instead, added another Minnie and Friends for our last day.  This was for Thursday at 8:20.  We did not have magic morning, but that was not a problem.  We were told to go to gate one, check in there and it would be okay.  It worked like a charm, and we were seated by 8:20.

This time, we were seated inside to the left of the front doors.  The characters came by so quickly we had not even left the table for food yet!  In the first fifteen minutes we saw Captain Hook, Chip and Dale, Minnie, Fairy Godmother, Pooh, Eeyore and Stitch.  When Pinocchio came to our table he sat at the empty seat and played with Alex for about 15 minutes.  We have it on video tape.  The character managers were in shock.  They had never witnessed this happen before so I clued them in and told them about Goofy’s Kitchen last trip.  We will always bring Props now.  Those 15 mintues of Pinocchio was priceless to us.  Tigger was also there, but we did not wait for him since he went on break as we were ready to leave.

Both times we ate there this trip we saw an incredible cast of characters.  The food was wonderful as always, and I did get my omelet on our second time.  The French toast with strawberry sauce is also incredibly good!

We have always loved the meal here, and it has been a while since we have been there.  This trip was wonderful, and because of the fun here, we didn’t miss Goofy’s Kitchen at all.

Getting into the park early was super easy and it was nice to have breakfast done by opening.  This was a great beginning to our last day.
