It's a Small World Description

“it’s a small world” is a Fantasyland attraction that will take you on a boat ride to visit 100 different regions of the world, celebrating the diversity of the people and lands on this Earth.  With a soundtrack that repeats itself over and over, and changes to different languages depending on the land you are currently sailing past you will find the music for this ride unforgettable.  This music was created by Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman.   Some of the things you will see inside are Holland with its many windmills, The Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and the Taj Mahal.  With over 300 audio-animatronic people and animals inside, this is a site for the eyes to see.

The façade of “it’s a small world” is an architectural masterpiece festooned with a 30 foot clock, also known as a glockenspiel that will tick each second.  Every fifteen minutes, the façade will open up and audio-animatronic dolls will come out and circle the glockenspiel.

You will also see many topiary animals on the “it’s a small world” grounds, including an elephant, lion, and a horse in addition to other animals.

The entire queue for this attraction can be seen before entering the line.  During the holiday periods the lines tend to get very long.

Your journey through many lands will take 11-14 minutes to complete, depending on how many boats are operating, and the weight of your boat.
