Splash Mountain Description
Splash
Mountain
is a water flume attraction that will take you through backwoods areas including swamps and bayous as you encounter Brer Bear and his friends Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox. You will ride down a waterfall and of course ride down the very steep 52 ½ foot tall Chickapin Hill at the end of your ride.
This attraction is based on the film ‘Song of the South’ and includes characters and music from the movie. The most recognizable music of course is ‘Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah’. Animatronic animals are throughout this attraction, and many come from the old attraction America Sings.
The queue for this attraction can be very long on a hot day and much shorter on cool days. At SplashMountain wait times are posted for this attraction so you know the wait before even entering the unseen queue.
