What's Happening at Disneyland (12/31/07)

General Information:

 

December 31, 2007 is Disneyland Resorts New Years Eve Party with Disney’s California Adventure closing at 1:00 in the morning.  Disneyland will remain open one more hour and close at 2:00 in the morning.

 

Christmas decorations at the Disneyland Resort will remain through January 6^th, 2008.

 

Holiday entertainment will remain through January 6^th, 2008.

 

Off-Season Hours begin on Monday January 7^th.

 

Fireworks display will be at 7:30 on January 7^th due to the shorter hours.

New Attraction Updates :

 

Work on Toy Story Mania at Disney’s California Adventure continues with work on the interior of the attraction.  This new 3-D interactive experience is due to open summer 2008.

 

A ‘mock up’ test ride was just done using Disney Imagineers and they quickly found out that the Imagineers who wear glasses had problems with dizziness and nausea after exiting the mock up attraction.  This is something that Imagineers are going to try to fix before Toy Story Mania opens to the public this summer, and at this time they are not concerned about those results.  There is plenty of time to fix that issue!

Monster’s, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue remains closed.

 

At Disneyland:

Haunted Mansion closes on Monday January 7^th to remove the Holiday overlay.
