No Package - Do it yourself

Pro's
  • You have complete control of where you stay, and for how long.
  • You can purchase a single day ticket, or a 3, 4, or 5 day Park Hopper.
  • With a 3-day or higher Park Hopper, you still get Early Entry for one day during your stay.
  • Your hotel will probably be less expensive.
  • No vouchers to lose.
  • Easier if you want to divide your vacation into different hotels around California.

  • Con's
  • No Mickey's Morning Madness.
  • You pay for everything separately, instead of all at once before you even leave home.
  • You make several calls to various hotels, instead of one call to a travel agent, or Walt Disney Travel Company.
  • Walt Disney Travel Company Package

  • While the packages are pretty flexible it is not so easy to book 2 nights at Disneyland, and then hotels in other California cities.
  • Price can be higher for your selected hotel.
  • Penalties for changing or canceling your reservation.
  • Booking a Walt Disney Travel Company Package through AAA Travel
